After graduation, Monir Hossain moved to Mirpur, Dhaka, where he began his career as a lecturer at a private university. In 2007, he transitioned into the professional world as an engineer at a private telecommunications organization. The following year, he joined the renowned Japanese technology company, NEC Corporation, where he served as an engineer until 2013. Unfortunately, due to personal family circumstances, he was forced to leave the company and faced a period of unemployment.
While working at NEC Corporation, Monir Hossain discovered freelancing through a colleague and saw its potential. Lacking resources, he started from home, laying the foundation for his entrepreneurial journey. On June 24, 2013, he founded Bdcalling IT Ltd., which grew into a leading IT company by 2017. His wife, Sabina Akter, a dedicated engineer and advocate for women’s empowerment, played a key role in its growth and now serves as the company's Chairman.
